I did not get to experience the performance/server's community during WoE. ![]() As dar as I could tell, there are quite a few "kill x monsters" quests to help speed up your leveling, but it's still a Korean nightmare grindfest so be aware of what you're getting yourself into. The fact that the game requires you to run it as Administrator (which, granted, is a a general trait of the RO client and not specific to this one) is outdated and provides an extra risk.Īs far as the game itself goes, the newbie area is well-built and makes it relatively easy for you to get to First Job as far as official, 1/1 rated servers go. Translation aside, the game still has the same shoddy netcode it had in 2002, so don't expect a lagfree experience even if you're in central Europe. Frankly, I am sure there are plenty of enthusiast players who would fix the translation job for free, so the game just reeks of low effort. First of all, the translation effort is laughable, the game is full of Engrish and half-translated textboxes, which is unprofessional at best considering that the company wants you to pay money for the game (which is fine), having both the website and the client look worse than a typical private server is insulting. This client, however, is not worth your time. ![]() ![]() First of all, I adore RO and I've played iRO for half a decade, as well as spent some time on private servers later.
